Commuters heading east on I-76 make up a big share of what we run out here. Something lets go between the SR 94 and SR 57 interchanges, they coast onto the shoulder, and now they're standing on the north edge of town with traffic going past at speed. That's the call we get most. Same interstate we work in Barberton and Akron, so our trucks are already pointed the right way when the phone rings.
In town it's a different job. The older frame houses around the public square sit on narrow drives with short aprons, and a flatbed needs room to set down — sometimes we stage on the street instead. The newer subdivisions off the south and east edges are easier, wider streets, more turnaround. Wooster Road toward Norton and Rittman gets its share of soft-shoulder winch-outs after a wet stretch.

It does, and for a lot of jobs a Medina County outfit is the closer truck. Where we tend to make sense is when the vehicle's already on I-76 or heading toward Akron anyway — impound release, a shop appointment, a body shop on our side of the county line.
Can you get to me on the interstate, not just in town?
Yes. Highway calls are most of what we do here. Give us the direction of travel and the nearest interchange — 94 or 57 — and stay out of the vehicle on the far side of the guardrail if it's safe to.
