The Circle eats a good share of our week. Drivers coming off SR 91 or SR 261 who've never met a roundabout with an 1825 church parked in the middle of it tend to find each other's bumpers at about eight miles an hour. Nobody's hurt. One car won't roll. We load it fast, because there's no shoulder and you're plugging a spoke the whole time.
Calls off the Circle are calmer. The 60s and 70s ranches on the grid streets near Northeast Avenue all have driveway parking, so it's mostly jump starts and lockouts where the car sits. Won't roll? The flatbed stays on the street and we winch it down. East Avenue and Tallmadge Road drop us into Akron's east side, Munroe Falls Avenue runs north, and SR 8 and I-76 are a few minutes west.

Can you tow off the Circle without stopping traffic?
Usually. We set up to keep a spoke moving and load quick. If police already have the scene, we go by their direction.
Will a flatbed fit in my driveway?
Older Tallmadge driveways are narrow and short, so we generally stay on the street and winch the vehicle out. Nothing dragged across your apron or lawn.
